Kids/Youth Ministries
Kid's Ministries (Birth to 7th grade)
Nursery
Zion loves kids and we value young families! We offer nursery services for newborns - 3 years old during the service. We also offer nursery during Bible Studies, Community Groups, and other events so that young families can be an active part of the church.
Sunday School
Sunday mornings at 9 am we have Sunday school classes for ages 3-adult. Our Sunday school program seeks to partner with parents in teaching children about our great God. Children have take home materials each week for you to interact as a family.
Church Service
We have a children's moment during the service for ages 5 and under 2-3 times a month. Before the sermon our 4-5 year olds can choose to leave and go to children's church. All of our workers are screened and have background checks, but more importantly they love kids.
AWANA
Each Wednesday night we have our Awana program from 6pm-8pm for ages 3-12th grade. This program draws children from all around our community and is very dynamic. If you are not familiar with Awana check out thier website: AWANA
Family Connect
We are currently developing ministry tools that connect the church with the family in a dynamic partnership. We believe that the most effective way to raise Godly children is to empower parents to fufill thier God given roles. We are developing ways for you and our church to celebrate spiritual milestones, plan for your child's spiritual growth, and develop family traditions. We also are working on better ways to connect families at the same stage in life with other families who are there and who have been there so that you can realize you are not alone.
ZION YOUTH MINISTRY- ZYM (7TH-12TH GRADE)
We have a dynamic youth program led by our part-time youth pastor Joseph Dittfurth. Our youth group meets on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00pm during the school year with occasional special events and service projects. We believe that our youth group provides an environment where all kids are loved and accepted while challenging them to reach out to the lost kids in their schools. During the summers our youth group is active with an annual retreat, fun outings, bi-monthly Bible Study, and service projects. Come and check it out!
